What makes today special: Dad has recovered and is back at home.

Every year; the neighborhood I grew up in has a fantastic Garage sale event on the first Saturday in May.

There will be food venders and fund raisers. My favorite fund raiser is a plant sale by the Gay Men’s Choir.

We don’t buy much or sell stuff either. We just put out a table of stuff we don’t use. The stuff we put out is free.

For the rest of the day, my husband does yard work for my parents.

I am looking forward to seeing my family and old friends.
