Describe your ideal week.
I don’t know what the ideal week looks like. Life is unpredictable. From being a member of AlAnon, I have the attitude of taking life one day at a time. This could mean getting through a tough day and still looking forward to the next day.
Every day we have the opportunity to make a new start. The problems of the previous day may seem smaller when given a good night of sleep and a clear head for problem solving.
On a good day, my chronic pain is manageable enough for me to face whatever challenges I might have.
On a good day, I feel loved and I can reciprocate being loved.
On a good day I am able to fulfill my daily commitments to myself, to my family, friends and colleagues along with my customers without whom I wouldn’t have a job.
A good day is being spiritually centered. My day and week are better when I talk to God. A good bible study can make a bad day much better. My life is better when I go to church. Things just fall into place, when my level of pain is too much for me to get out of the house, I catch up on a service on youtube.
On a good day, I can get out of bed.
A nice long afternoon nap can make it a great day.
Relationships with family and friends are not strained on a good day.
Spending time with a loved one or a chat with my mom make it a good day or can be the start of a good week.
A collection of good days or having more good days than the not so good days add up to a good week 🙂
